Toys Of The Future 1

We went to Giant Supermarket to get some groceries, when suddenly we noticed this empty aisle where its dusty. We found out that this was the toy aisle. They had these china-made toys from the first to the last. It was sure that China has dominated the toy industry in Giant. I looked around and this particular toy soldier caught my eye. It wasn't attractive and It wasn't the price. It was what was written on top of the packaging. "Modern and Elegant In Fashion". What the hell was that? Who would even care for the elegant fashion of a toy who looks like that? and the soldier also looks kinda OOP (Out of proportion). Good thing they wrote : "Made in China" on the side, so that people might know what happened. :>

Next, I saw this toy gun, which looked like my childhood toy, only lousier quality and very 'Engrish' tagline : "Space soldiers' arms can strike a light, start shooting and shoot". I began to wonder where the space soldiers are. I couldn't find it. I wanted to know what the hell they meant by arms can strike and start shooting and shoot. I failed and noticed that it was a toy gun and not a space soldier toy.

Hell, these people makes me confused. Then, I saw this innocent looking baseball bat with these balls. It wrote: One Baseball Bat, One Baseball. Which I couldn't help but noticed that there were actually two balls. Hmm.. why did they write one ball when they actually have two balls? Its like you are embarrased to tell people that you have two balls. Wierdoes.

This Power Ranger wannabe robot. With the following text:

  • Doll Fashion (where got ah??)
  • The unlimited bout between technology and strength (what does that mean?)
  • It is smart (owwww..kaay)
  • Promotion of new product (isn't this suppose to be on a promotion poster or something?)
  • I have no comments on this. This wannabe robot is so called the "hero of the forest".. which i personally feel that they wanted to say "hero of the forrest".

    Best Teh Ais In Sunway

Oh well, after so many months of suffering and hunger (for nice food), I finally found something that is so satisfying that I come to this place almost everyday. Its near and its very convinient. The service is not bad and best of all, the waiters understand english. Woo-Hoo~! Okay, let's start, this is the high class mamak stall called CholaSpice Garden. Doesn't sound very Indian right? Well, it doesn't matter because its environment is very very very clean Just look at their entrance. You can feel that welcoming feeling that is filled with Indian Spices. The location is just beside the famous art store called Vision Art. Which is every 'The One Academy' student's pit stop for materials and printings.

The bright entrance gives you a warm and cozy feeling and further more there's this useless aircon that makes it look cool. The Indian decoration is very nice and its not a muslim restaurant - meaning you can drink alcohol in there. Yea~ which I don't. Well, this is the 2nd branch for the CholaSpice Garden. The 1st one is in KLCC (I think). Well, they have every kinds of Roti Channai (Roti Canai) you can think of. There's this big variety of Dosai (Thosai) and Parathas to choose from. The best thing here is the drinks and the price. On the menu, they have this unexpected expensive price which would just destroy your appetite by looking at it. For us students (this is the best part), we get 10% discount out of everything eaten in the mamak stall, without showing them your student ID. (Its good to study) Futhermore, the boss of this store is so friendly and considerate too. Anyways, to the drinks - Teh Ais (Ice Tea). The best Teh Ais I have ever tasted in the whole Sunway. The price is also the best I have ever seen. For students, its only RM1.20 (F*** Ming Tian Restaurant for selling it at the price of RM1.70 and those cigarette smell)

Look at the picture of the Teh Ais. It looks like "One Is Not Enough".

For that price you can get and the taste that is just like heaven, why not get more than one. Not only will you be happy, so will your cute looking Teh Ais too. Try it really, you'll love it too. In a glass like that, nothing is more delicious that these Teh Ais'es'. Well, there's more drinks to choose from actually, you better go there to try it. I'll preview you with another drink called the Lemon Juice With Mint. Cool and refreshing as it seems. The looks, the taste, and the price. Worth the hell outta your balls. Oh-Yeah! You Rock CholaSpice.

What I Feel Sunway Is Like

First Impression of Bandar Sunway (which was about 10 years ago), nice, clean, classy. After I came to Sunway to study at The One Academy in the year 2005, things have changed a lot ever since. The environment is incredibly dusty and dirty. The density of pollution is getting more thicker than ever. The food here is getting more and more expensive too. Despite the high rising price, the food in Sunway has no varieties at all. Its either little or too salty. Sunway is filled with mamak stalls which are actually not very special to me. The food in the mamaks are rather more cheaper but not as clean. Rashes began to pop out from my skin when i experienced the 3-month dinner marathon in mamak stalls when i was staying in USJ 14 (That's in Subang). The mamak stalls have friendly services but not very well-trained listening waiters. They are always misunderstanding what you ordered which drives me to annoyanceand irritation to my mind and skin. The most special thing about mamak stalls are the black pigeons hanging around the shops. Flying here and there, drives me crazy too. Imagine eating while some bird shit drops in your Maggi Goreng which u mistakenly take it as chicken eggs and put it in your mouth. The Agony~~! Kopitiam (as we Hokkien Chinese calls it) here are called chinese restaurants (That's really wierd), their environment is extremely dirty as you can see rats almost in every drain nearby and smell it too. The food is very chinese!!! because of the quantity they give you. RM4.00 for some noodles with 3 pieces of meat plus all the salt you can find in the dead sea. The price for the drinks has just God-damned went up for no reason. The usual Teh-O-Peng was RM1.20, now its RM1.50 RM1.60! More expensive than a can of Coca-cola, man!!! OMG, what kind of price is that? and all you can drink is just 1/4 of teh and 3/4 of ice for RM1.60!!! No wonder it was called a RESTAURANT and not a kopitiam (Coffeshop). Sunway is famous for the shopping area so called The Sunway Pyramid. There are a lot of food outlets in the pyramid, from the non-stop queue of Kim Gary to Malay's 2nd home, KFC. There's also this unimaginable spine-chilling price of Ramen and Laksa in the pyramid. Which I haven't tried. Go look at the price yourself. Sunway is considered one of the most well-planned environments among Malaysia. It consists of the lovely people who litters just anywhere on the ground or considerate people who parks their motorcar in the motorcycle lane. There are also a lot of friendly driving people who accelerates their vehicle when they see you cross the road and tries to knock you down. A lot of hardworking sunway police who rides in the finest motorcycles and race each other in the neighbourhood of PJS. There's also very annoying newspaper collecting vans and Tilam (Mattress) Vans, Singing this addictive tune and driving around the neighbourhood everyday!!!! Making you sing together with them. There's a lot of good sides of Sunway to say about too. There's this extremely expensive 7 eleven convinient store and Ramlee's RM2.00 burger stand just around that area. The most annoying thing about Sunway is the number of people asking you to contribute money to charity which they don't even tell you who the money is for. Asking some Ah Lians and Ah Bengs to do this kind of job just won't work. Pretending you don't understand Mandarin and Cantonese will just drive them away. Its the easiest to deal with then it comes to bengs and lians. Their minimum offer for contribution is always RM25 and you can also bargain until RM15 too. Its like a mobile night market. Sunway is filled with fun stuff and interesting things to talk about. Till then...more news, guys.
